Hi I'm Mary!
I am a Virtual Assistant with hands-on experience since 2021, supporting business owners across industries such as education, healthcare, and travel. Over the years, I’ve helped keep internal operations organized, tasks on track, and daily workflows running smoothly—so business owners can focus on their core services instead of handling everything on their own (which can get overwhelming fast).
I didn’t start my freelancing journey perfectly, and I definitely didn’t have everything figured out at the beginning. I’m grateful for the online coaches and mentors who were kind enough to guide beginners like me. But I’ve learned that training is only a small part of becoming a good Virtual Assistant. What really matters is curiosity, willingness to learn, consistency, and the ability to show up and improve every day.
I genuinely enjoy learning new tools, systems, and ways to work better. I ask questions, I adapt, and I take pride in growing along with the businesses I support.
Outside of work, I’m a mom of three—and honestly, that’s one of the biggest reasons I chose freelancing. Working from home gives me the flexibility to be present with my kids, stay silly, play around, and enjoy the little moments that matter most. Some days are productive, some days are loud, and some days involve multitasking with snacks in hand—but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. When I’m not working or being a full-time mom, I love spending time with my favorite people. We enjoy hanging out, catching up, and talking about life and adulting—you know, responsibilities, plans, and all the things no one warned us about. Sometimes we’re lucky enough to go to concerts (only when my budget agrees with me, of course 😄), but most of the time, we’re perfectly happy sitting down with good conversations and our favorite iced coffee. Mine will always be a Spanish Latte. Every summer, we make it a point to bring our kids along for beach trips around our province. Since my friends are moms too, it’s usually a mix of kids running on the sand, adults chatting in between, and everyone enjoying the sunshine and salty air. Those simple trips remind me why balance is important—not just in life, but in work too.
